This is a delightful and thinking way to trout fish and as a sport can be taken to any degree of skill level. Fly fishing for trout in Tasmania is a challenge that can be made easier with the right trout guide, good tuition, great flies and a little effort by any angler wishing to unlock the mystery of fly fishing.
WE PROVIDE OR ARRANGE
Our tours are all inclusive of all gear, boat, waders, wet weather clothes, lunch, tea, coffee, bottled water, snacks and the Tasmanian trout fishing license. All you need to bring is your own personal items, hat, sunscreen, polaroid glasses and warm layers if it gets cold.

As professional trout fishing guides and instructors we offer tours that are designed for the complete novice angler.
If you are beyond the beginner stage, we can help you enjoy fly fishing and build your skills to the point where you can go fly fishing on your own with confidence and catch trout.
For those experienced anglers looking to further hone their skills, we can help you to become a fly fishing master.
We can take you through all stages.
ONE DAY TOUR
A typical day would consist of a pick up at your accommodation in Launceston, Deloraine, Devonport, Northern Midlands, Central Highlands, or Hobart by your trout guide, initial tuition, followed by a fun day of fishing, learning, catching and losing fish plus generally having a ball with a fly rod and wild Tasmanian trout. All you need is the desire to learn and a good sense of humor. We do the rest. Fly fishing tuition tours are available 7 days a week. NOTE - we are happy to meet you in the Highlands if you are staying up there.
EXTENDED TOURS
We also offer extended tours of up to 6 days based in the Highlands around Miena, accommodation and all meals at the Central Highlands Lodge, and/or the northern midlands, lakes and rivers, including the introduction to fly fishing sessions.
FOR THE GIRLS
Fly fishing requires a minimal level of strength and all courses are suitable for aspiring anglers of all ages from about 14 years on.
So ladies, don't be afraid of giving it a go as there are many skilled women dedicated to the sport of fly fishing.
